The 6th Annual Big Give
In our sixth grant cycled, we gave an $8,000 grant to Saving Our Youth: Leading with Our Ladies Initiative. The Leading Our Ladies Training and Development Program is a six-month leadership experience for young adult women of color aged 16-20 who want to grow socially and personally. The program included modules on self-understanding, healthy relationships, emotional and physical wellness, and life lessons to prepare participants for the future.
Girl Power Grants 2019
Our 2019 great went to Pretty Purposed, a phenomenal girl empowerment organization. Working with girls our age as we learned about the needs of our community together was an incredible experience for GPG members.
The BIG Give 2018
The 2018 Big Give introduced us to HomeAgain Richmond, where our dollars funded the teen center inside HomeAgain’s warm and welcoming transitional housing facility. We helped with painting and preparations for the beautiful new hangout for teens in their program.
The BIG Give 2017
In 2017, YoungLives Metro Richmond earned our grant dollars for their amazing program that supports teen moms. We got to know them and their precious children in a year we’ll never forget.
