Our mission is to motivate and inspire to give

Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here. Girl Power Grants (GPG) is a 501c3 nonprofit founded in 2015 by a small group of philanthropic teenage girls.

Our mission is simple: to harness the power of collective giving while teaching young women how to find and use their voices for good. Since 2015, GPG has awarded $90,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations serving youth in Virginia.

We hosted our Big Give 2024 on April 19. Congratulations to Tablespoons Bakery on receiving a transformative $10,000 grant and to Sylvia’s Sisters and Virginia Friendship Circle for receiving $1,000 grants.

If you’re a teen girl who wants to get involved, a nonprofit that would like funding in 2025 or a kind-hearted sponsor who would like to help advance our mission, please contact us.
