Girls with the power to give
Our 2025 Big Give is Friday, May 2, at the Lodge at Hope Church. RSVP.
Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here. Girl Power Grants (GPG) is a 501c3 nonprofit founded in 2015 by a small group of philanthropic teenage girls.
If you’re a teen girl who wants to get involved, a nonprofit that would like funding in 2025 or a kind-hearted sponsor who would like to help advance our mission, please contact us.
About the 2025 Big Give
Our three 2025 finalists are:
Richmond Aging and Engaging – A nonprofit focused on combating social isolation in older adults through meaningful community connections, engaging activities, and volunteer-driven programs.
McShin Recovery Resource Foundation – A leading peer-driven recovery organization, dedicated to providing housing, support services, and advocacy for individuals overcoming substance use disorders.
Podium RVA – An organization empowering young writers and leaders in the Richmond area by providing mentorship, writing, communication, and leadership development programs for students.
At the Big Give, each finalist will have the opportunity to share their story before Girl Power Grants members vote to determine this year’s grant recipient.
Our mission since 20215
Our mission is simple: to harness the power of collective giving while teaching young women how to find and use their voices for good. Since 2015, GPG has awarded $90,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations serving youth in Virginia.
Our 2024 Big Give
